If you haven’t cooked on a griddle, I will tell you that it is AWESOME! There are so many things you can cook on a griddle, from hamburgers, eggs and pancakes to shrimp fried rice! Easy clean up!
This griddle top is made of 3/16” (7 gauge) A36 carbon steel. The griddle fits right on the U-Max grill. It is braced underneath to prevent warping. Has two handles on each side for convenience and also a grease drain hole. This is a raw steel griddle and will require some maintenance to prevent it from rusting. We recommend seasoning griddle with a high smoke point oil such as Canola Oil. Treat it like a cast iron pan and you will have an amazing non-stick cooking surface.
