Our business, Chiasson Smoke, began in 2018 when my husband and I moved from Louisiana to Wisconsin.

My husband, Jason, has been welding for years and it is one of his many passions. He always did it whether it was fixing farm equipment, building a smoker, or making his first pair of cowboy spurs in 2008.

My interest in CNC plasma cutting started when Jason began building spurs out of Montana's ranch shop. That’s when we bought a 2x2 Torchmate CNC plasma table to help with the spur-making process. It was a learning experience for me for sure but it was something I enjoyed.

Life happened and we both left Montana. We moved to Louisiana where Jason was born and raised. Jason went on to work at a natural gas company as a mechanic but after living in Louisiana for 6 years an opportunity came up to move to my family farm in Wisconsin in 2018. At this point, we had the chance to start our own business, and with our passion for metalwork and welding, we started Chiasson Smoke.

We have slowly built the business since then to have more products and more tools to help jobs become more efficient and to be able to offer more services. We’ve since upgraded our plasma table to a 5x10 which has been a big game changer in our business.
